Did you know that there are 39,750 individuals in Caddo Parish considered food insecure?  That means that 39,750 households do not have consistent access to one of their most basic needs, food.  

That is why, every year, The Hub hosts The Great Food Fight!  We want to fight against hunger in our community!

The Hub is on a mission to give everyone in our city access to a restored life, and often the pathway to a fully restored life begins with something as simple as access to food.  Food is a huge way that The Hub not only meets the needs of people in our city, but builds bridges of trust that allow for future recovery and restoration.

The Hub serves 630 hot meals a month and has on average 900 store transactions in The Eatwell, The Lovewell's food store, where individuals shop for groceries.  We use food in every outreach bag, stock the Purchased houses with groceries and provide grocery assistance to women in the exotic dancing industry.  FOOD matters for our ministry!
